I have photographed St. Thomas'a Becket's Church , Fairfield stacks of times. Dawn in winter is best for the light and when you get frost and mist it is a bonus. It is a honeypot for Kent based photographers. Drone shots work well too.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching you travel around all the Counties. You didn’t happen to bump into Gary Gough at Happisburgh Lighthouse by any chance, as he did a vlog from there a couple of weeks ago, with the rapeseed and full moon too 😅
Congrats on 500k subs. Feel that has gone under the radar but it is brilliant for you. LOVED the lighthouse shots and the bluebells. Good luck with the book. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Nigel, the shots are really amazing so I really wanted to pre-order your book Discover England, but it seems likethe shipment is just to uk destinations 😢. Just in case there will be a way to send it to germany, just give me a hint 😀
@NigelDanson, I've just ordered the Collectors Edition, really looking forward to seeing the journey in print, I've really enjoyed the series on here, and I'm hoping to get some inspiration from your images. I live in Kent and face the same frustration a lot of where to shoot sometimes. Quick question, when will you send out the images to choose the print for the Collectors Edition? Thanks again, looking forward to the next project.
I‘ve thoroughly enjoyed this series of videos, Nigel, and have duly pre-ordered your book. I feel this is an historical journey you have completed. In twenty years time, much of it may have already changed. So it‘s wonderful that you will have published this photographic series.🇦🇺
I see that you have been using the 24-200 Nikon lens, is it sharp at the large end? Mine isn't that good at the large end 24mm better at 28 or 35 onward.
Sorry about the issues at the start of the video – I copied a clip for the intro and forgot to remove it. it only impacts around 15s though
Very interesting comparison. Hard to really see much difference. Thanks for another great vid.
In the corporate world, they’re used as flying tripods. Gets a camera high enough to capture team pictures for example.
Great work!
👋
14:50 that would be a 'TOP GEAR' shot

Nigel, would you consider another run of the Luskentyre book?!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Great video and wonderful photos all . Looks like you were channeling your inner James Popsys at the beach houses. Very nicely done 😊
Order placed. Keep going strong Nigel.
Nice video. Can you put the Numbers you use with the photos, thnx.
Great shots, but who is the ` tired `passenger beside you in the van?
I cannot wrap my head around the technique used 32:00 – 32:11
Book ordered … the one with the print … 🙂

I can't believe Luskintyre was 3 years ago 🤯
