X2D 100C mk1 user here – eye-detect and AF-C seem the most tempting additions, but perhaps too small a difference to justify an upgrade. I'm glad though that this line is continuing. Great practical video here Tony & Chelsea, thank you.

Sadly, I needed to stop the video after a few minutes…comparing a (small) medium format camera (yep, there are some with bigger sensors) to a 35mm camera is a bid weird but you can do it. But I was out after "it's the same aspect ratio that instagram uses". It isn't. 4:3 is a classic medium format aspect ratio and instagram does support various different aspect ratios. But even if you mean THE most famous one (atm) it breaks down to 5:4 and not 4:3. And not say that the X2D II 100 C is the worst camera Hasselblad made in a long time. What happened to this channel?
From the perspective of someone who is not into photography, everything looks too dark now. Like if you were looking through sunglasses. It kind of ruins everything..
The Hasselblad looks really nice but is there a filter at 1.18? It looks a bit to yellow-ish and even the eye is more towards the yellow than the white side? I'm in the waiting time for the Sony A7R6 and if that is not blowing the competition out of the water and also go towards 16bit color-depth I will go for the Hasselblad after I sell my kidneys 🙂

Aren't the GFX 100 II and 100s II cheaper with better auto focus tracking? Why are we pretending this is the first medium format with acceptable tracking and response times?

But if I were to buy such a camera, the compatible lenses would be very limited, with maximum focal length with the XCD 35-100mm (20-76mm fullframe equivalent). Moreover, the camera is large and heavy (especially with the lens) compared to my Sony A7R IVa. Tony, if I were you, I definitely wouldn't trade my Sony gear for an XC2D II gear.
Actually I think you’re close to being right. I have Sony’s A7r iv, and A7Cii. Bought the first XD2 ii in Lisbon a couple weeks ago. I’ve been using it daily last two weeks. Only weakness Sports and long range subjects! My Sonys will have their place but they won’t be my front line anymore
the color depth of the jpg is 8 bits the same as everyone else's camera also gfx100s has 8 bits jpeg but who is paying 10 grand and shoots jpg people is pissing away the money by shootin jpg
I hate how this camera is $7400 out the box alone by itself but anywho If you take a look at sony there most expensive camera is $6400 for the camera alone. like dont get me wrong I get it, tech is expensive however I dont think something should be that expensive for the body alone because Ik when I do buy it plus the lens and the other stull it'll probably be around $14k just for the most simplest setup

fujifilm gfx 100 ii…is in the same medium format league with Leica also there …big number pixels in a image 👍
