I hope you get to review both the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, as well as the Xperia 1 V. I hate the type of photos that the typical phone reviewer takes. They rely mostly on the SOOC Computational Imaging look, which I can't stand. And their photos just aren't interesting, at all.

I use this camera for a couple of weeks now and I m very satisfied. I also do prints by myself and I made some great A3+ prints . Fantastic work from Leica/Xiaomi 👍🏻 btw, you can make fon calls as well 😂 I switched from iphone as well, I hate Android but I will get over it …

I'm impressed and not-impressed with this cameraphone at the same time. For photography, I feel like I'd rather carry a GR II or III in a spare pocket, and just let my smartphone be my smartphone. At least I'll say that I appreciate how fast the Xiaomi 13 Pro shutter was, though. I recently got flustered while trying to use a Samsung Note for some precious family moments (family reunited after 50 years!) and missing "perfect" shots because the phone was busy thinking about whether it wanted to take any more pictures right now.

You'll be able to unlock so much more potential from that Sony IMX898 and Leica glass if you root your phone and port some coder's time and effort (XDA-Developers/Github). A mod of Gcam is a good start!
On the really 1inch sensor, please inform yourself, it's not 1 inch just a marketing gimmick.
Brother production quality is very good, only problem is that thumbnail it's boring….try to make it cinematic… you'll get way more views
great video, I got a lot more clarity in this one video than i did in the last 5 i saw about this phone.
Tested it against my old phone decent camera mi 11 lite.. even those who dont know anything bout mobile photography (while sharing it in FB) noticed the difference.. Golden hours shooting is on a diff level..
Not to take away the fact that this finally is the right direction for pocket size photography, but I am wondering about the fuzz which is made because of sensor and glass.
I still have my Panasonic Lumix CM1 smartphone around (or better: two of them), with a 1 inch (Sony) sensor and a 28mm f2.8-f11 Leica lens (any f-stops in this Xiaomi?).

I hope Leica never leaves Xiaomi. Xiaomi now has the perfect hardware with the IMX989 and dual JN1, software needs to be continuously enhanced and more features on the 14 Pro and so on.. No need for an Ultra if Xiaomi's Pro line-up is this good.
