We all have our “dark secrets” and do things that we would never admit to our clients or fellow photographers. And Instagram account Industry Confessionals brings them all out in the open. It’s a selection of anonymous confessions and secrets from the photography industry, and it will make you laugh, cringe, but sometimes also relate.
Industry Confessionals is basically a photographers’ version of “Confessions,” and while it’s only a few days old, it’s rapidly growing in popularity. Submission requests are published via Instagram Stories, and the account owners invite you to send your confessions via them. You can also confess your photographic sins or share your thoughts via a direct message, and the best ones will be published.
You can submit as many confessions, thoughts, stories or advice as your heart desires. The only condition is that they’re brief and that something similar hasn’t already been published. And worry not: even if they get published, your thoughts will remain anonymous.
