Intel has introduced the primary of its Arc A-series 3 graphics desktop playing cards — the ARC3 A380 Discrete Graphics processor — to be used in Intel-based computer systems.

The ARC 3 A380 GPU makes use of 8 Xe cores with a clock pace of two,000 Mhz with 6GB of GDDR6 Reminiscence for as much as 192 GB/s of bandwidth. That’s as much as two times the efficiency of Intel Iris XeLP graphics, making the ARC3 Discrete GPU supreme for gaming and content material introduction.

“Intel Arc A-series 3 graphics desktop merchandise constitute your next step in Intel’s adventure to deliver discrete graphics to marketplace,” the corporate says.

“The Intel Arc A-series 3 graphics brings next-generation applied sciences to mainstream players and creators with probably the most whole generation characteristic set on this marketplace phase, in a position for next-generation workloads.”

With the Codename Alchemist, the A380 is Intel’s first full-featured graphics card, in response to Intel’s Xe Top-Efficiency Graphics (Xe HPG) microarchitecture.

It helps Direct 12 Final gaming options together with hardware-accelerated ray tracing, variable-rate shading, mesh shading, and sampler comments. The cardboard too can show 1080p video and better video the use of Intel’s AI-based tremendous sampling generation, XeSS.

For content material introduction, Intel has integrated its Xe Media Engine for processing hi-resolution video AV1 {hardware} encoding acceleration.

The Engine helps H.265 HEVC and H.264 and is able to resolutions as much as 8K. The A380 too can pressure as much as 4 4K 120Hz HDR presentations or two 8K 60Hz presentations thru its Xe Show Engine, and 1080p and 1440p resolutions at 360Hz.

All over are living broadcast and video streaming, customers can personalize backgrounds, keep correctly targeted thru face monitoring, and broadcast from anyplace on the planet.

Customers will even produce are living streaming “let’s play” movies with further enter from their gaming consoles.

The A380 GPU will probably be to be had thru producers like Acer, ASUS, Gigabyte, GUNNIR, HP, and MSI beginning on the finish of June 2022, and will probably be a part of a phased international rollout beginning in China. Costs get started at about $153 (1030 Yuan).
